 To Be Six again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

>>> >>> A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his
>>>wife
>>> >>>turning back and forth, looking at herself in the mirror. Since
>>> >>>her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for
>>> >>>her Birthday. I'd like to be six again, she replied, still
>>> >>>looking in the mirror. On the morning of her Birthday, he arose
>>> >>>early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her
>>> >>>to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in
>>> >>>the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster
>>> >>>Roller Coaster, everything there was. Five hours later they
>>> >>>staggered out of the theme park Her head was reeling and her
>>> >>>stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald's where
>>> >>>he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate
>>>
>>> >>>shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her
>>> >>>favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she
>>> >>>wobbled home with her Husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He
>>> >>>leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well
>>> >>>Dear, what was it like being six again?" Her eyes slowly opened
>>> >>>and her __expression suddenly changed. "I meant my dress size, you
>>> >>>dumb ass!" The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening,
>>> >>>he is gonna get it wrong.

 My turn......

Have you ever wondered about our world today?? Let me pass this by you all and then tell me what you think,ok..THis might just be me rambling but this has been bothering me alot lately. Ever wondered how yrs. ago people did with out things like the microwave and cel phones.I have. I have lived in that place. What about when it was ok to let your kids play on the street and not have to worry about drive by shootings.ANd just this past winter we had a smog alert I mean in the dead of winter. What are we doing????????? Most of us drink bottled water now and use the microwaves to cook family meals I mean what ever happen to a good home cooked meal?? And being able to drink water right from the tap??? And what ever happened to taking life with a grain of salt , the calmness, the not having to worry about, just everything in general.... This has really been bothering me and this here stream. Why can't this place of all places be where we can come just to let it all hang out and not give a shit.... That too has been disrupted. Everyone here has made new friends thats what this place was for you know. To let people get things off their chest to have a place to express themselves in poems, art, and just telling everyone what their day was like. The feed back is good here most of it is positve.. I know. I know I shouldn't let what a few do in here bother me but by golly it has gotten to me. I thought that this was a place to come where know one knew me that I could rant and rave and not have it turn into a childs game of you did it, no you didn't leave me alone come here I am going to kick you in the ass PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It would bother me if Pioneer just shut this all down but I would move on with my life and take what I have learned here and use it to make mysself a better person.....
I have made dear friends here and ones that I am not willing to let go of... So please take what you like and leave the rest...

 OPening Prayer

Thought you might enjoy this interesting prayer given in Kansas
at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets
some people.

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the
Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this
is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to
seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to
those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it
building self esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbour's possessions and called it
ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and
called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honoured values of our forefathers and
called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from
every sin and set us free. Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out
during the prayer in protest.

In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is
pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those
calls responding negatively.

The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this
prayer from India, Africa and Korea.

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program,
"The Rest of the Story," and received a larger response to this
program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and
wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called
"one nation under God."

If possible, please pass this prayer on to your friends. "If you
don't stand for something, you will fall for everything."

Think about this: If you forward this prayer to everyone on your
a-mail list, in less than 30 days it would be heard by the world.

How many people in your address book will not receive this
prayer..... do you have the guts to pass it on?

Just copy and paste this and forward it to all you know..

 Procrastinators Creed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.

I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.

I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.

I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.

I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.

I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.

I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesmally small, is not exactly zero.

If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.

I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.

I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.

I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.

I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.

I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (the Procrastinator's Society) if they ever get it organized

 CHerish you FRiends!!!

Friendship may be a simple thing
But lots of love, it can bring.

Things to share and talk about
It's something you just can't do without.

All your life, friendship lasts
Through the years, you'll look back.

Remembering the laughs and happy times along with the cries and sorry sighs.

Friendship can never come apart
Especially when it's straight from the heart.

Friendships don't die, they continue to grow. So be sure to cherish the friendships you know.

Friends are like FLowers..
