Have you ever had one or two of those days??? You know the ones.. Well I have had my share and the last 3 days are enough to last me the rest of this year thankyou.
As most of you know from reading my blogs I have taken on a job of rural relief driver for Canada Post..I get paid about $.43 / KM which isn't really that bad and that part is non taxable and then I get what the normal driver would get for my pay. I spend approximately $150/week for gas and then I have to pay for a helper cause I have a Neon car.As the gear shifer is on the floor. I took the job cause I have done it before and because it is something that I am good at..
I have done 2 differnt routes now and the one that I am doing right now.
ANd that leads me to my last 3 or so days.. Its like I have been thrown into this time warp of days gone by. The route is not up to date on paper.Which it needs to be for anyone to do it the right way. SO I have been guess really all week where this flippen mail should all go. I refused to take out cheques that have no 911 # on them. Most all the rest of the mail isn't that bad...
But now I come to the fun part.I have been working for this guy Ted while he and his wife went on holidays. HIs mail route books have not been updated since 2001. And the post masters thinks that I should have been able to read his mind I guess and know where everybody was.
Ok let me run this buy you all.. If you were a Post MAster and you weere in charge of a Post Office wouldn't you all know exactly what should or shouldn't be going on in the rural route when that rural route was out of the Post Office.. Well if you as the Post MAster don't know what in the hell is going on then how am I to know..
ANyways this lady ripped a strip off of me up and down on Thursday calling me and my friend stupid not in those words but she did imply.She has been harassing me since I started the job this past Monday.I have put up withit all just praying to get the week in with out blowing a gasket. Which by the way I did On Thursday.
I called her supervisor and told her my side of the story and since then the supervisor has told her not to speak a word to me and is going to be at the Office as of tomorrow.Friday this Post Master would have eated shit off a spoon for me if I had asked her too she was nice and extremely helpful..So we shall see what tomorrow brings..
Then today my dishwasher broke and I am back to hand washing the flippen dishes....
And I just happen to cut my self with a glass glass.. So much for that.

Wel thats about all I got to say for today. Always looking at tomorrow as though it might be a brighter day!! Your friend from Ontario Canada
