HAve a HAppy Halloween.....

Well things are starting to look up a little in my life.. I went to the knee doctor yesterday and he drained some fluid off both of my knees and put some kind of white medication I think cortisone in where he took out the fluid. I feel a lot better ..Better then I have in months my knees do not hurt.
Took the puppy to the vet's today for her first visit she weighs in at a whopping 3 lbs 1 oz..SHe will only weight about 10-12 lbs at full growth..Works for me..
My brother met me in Tillsonburg and we had a coffee he likes to come and visit once a yr. and do something like that on my Birthday. I guess it makes him feel better and hey I get a free coffee...ANd I do look forward to our yearly visits.SHhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!! Just don't say anything ok..
Yeppers today is my Birthday!!!!! I am 47 yrs young well atleast I feel that way today..
THe weather up here in Ontario looks like it might warm up for a bit more I sure hope so.. I am not working again now until the 20th of Nov.. And that works for me as well ,gives me time with my new puppy(taffy)..Get her crate trained and house broken.. ANd gives me some much needed rest..

Ok so all of you know that I have this part-time rural route mail position that lately has turned into a full time job .THe problem that I am having is many things.First of I live in Southern Ontario. and when winter hits it sometimes hits with a vengence.I have been driving for almost 21 yrs now. And have only got into one accident which was not my fault. Anyways back to what I am thinking here.
I hate winter driving to begin with and when winter gets here unless I know that it will be above freezing I stay home.. I have to know that the roads are clear before I would even think about drivng it the stuff.
Next month Nov. this lady in Aylmer wants me to take her route for 2 weeks. The first full week and then the third week.Ok.. I got to drive 26 kms to get to that post office and the road that I have to take is called Lakeshore Road and they never get to sand it or plow it until the very last.I really like the money that comes from these routes but I value my safety more.
So I guess what I am asking you people out there what would you do???
I know taht Nov. could be just like Oct. here but then again we could get 6' of snow. I do not want to enter into a contract and then have to back out of it.. DOes any one out there know what I am feeling?? Can any one out there help??? very very I just do not know what to do. And then the othernight Iwas walking towards the stairs and hit the floor I do not remember what happened just before that but I do remember being on the floor.ANd of course I landed on my sore knee,and to which I now have a sore hip,shoulder ect..
I think I am more afraid of falling on the ice and snow then anything.
ANd not being able to get up. THe lady that I take with me to do the mail can't drive.And doesn't know the first thing about driving.I am stumped of what to do..

OH!! And by the way the puppy is doing fine.Trying to crate train her.
THe papwer training is coming along well.Well aat least I hope that it is.
So any help on ideas for the mail or the crate training would be of such a huge help..
