I can't believe it. I am the owner of my own business.. Yayyyyyyy me!!!!!!!!

Well what do you know...Its still here!! I thought that this place would have been gone a long time ago...Hmmmmmm...I am sure glad its still here
I get to update all of my blogger friends.
Well lets just say that I have seen the light and am moving in the right direction in my life right now.
I resigned from my job with The Lake Erie Beacon and have decided to start my own small community News paper. First Issue is out on Oct. 4th 2011...
I can hardly wait. I am combining all of my experience from working for small town papers for the last 20 or so yrs and going it on my own.
paper is coming together real fine.

The cost of the paper will be 10 cents and that is being paid forward to things such as the elementary schools in the area to help support Breakfast Clubs..Or Non-profit organizations that help children. My way of paying it forward.

Its a hard thing to face when you hear your mother say all I want to do is close my eyes and never wake up... MOm is in the process of giving up.. ANd she is very un happy.... Well I would be too if I were in her situation.... Having sold her home and having to live in a nursing home with all sorts of people none of whom is willing to make friends with her.. And mom not knowing how to approach people to make friends...
I think maybe its time for some hand holding and if my brother will not I guess it will have to be me... I value the time I get to spend with my mom after all you only get one mother in LIfe..

Week one down starting week two.. Suspose to beable to quit on day 11 which will be THursday..We shall see..
I have cut down from over 20 smokes a day down too less than 12 a day... For me thats good..
Not much else is happening except I go to get my left knee drained this week and re-injected with cortizone..We shall see how long that lasts this time .
Went into daughter for Fathers Day supper.. It was amazing lots of salads and burgers and dogs.. And for desset we had a Strawberry cake with strawberry icing with real strawberrys ontop..

Well it looks like blogstream is still here
I am sure glad that Pioneer changed his mind.. IT was and still is a great and awesome place to write..
So whats been going on with me you ask Well lets see back bout 3 weeks ago I got this real bad case of food poisining and was sicker than a sick dog for almost 1 week. Then I got the sore throat thingy happening and I got me an awful COLD!!!
AND I MADE A LIFE CHANGING DESCISION!!!!!!!!
TOmorrow June 13,2011 I start taking champix(Chantix)I have been smoking for 40 yrs.
I will keep YA'LL posted on here how its going..
But for now Stay safe and keep warmmm Yes its cold enough up here tonight to put on the oil furnace..
